The passion for continuous improvement and the love for the Upper Engadine are at the heart of the new issue of the Skiservice Magazine. Four personalities who, each in their way, embody the uniqueness of the Engadine, speak about their great loves. 160 pages, featuring the trends and novelties of the upcoming sporting winter, wrap up the magazine.
Doing things by halves isn’t their thing: Milanese fashion entrepreneur Franco Loro Piana, Daniel Meuli, the photographer from Sils, St Moritz beekeeper Andrea Bontognali, and the up-and-coming freestyle skier Nalu Nussbaum from Champfèr take to perfection what they do for a passion. This edition of the Skiservice Magazine presents four individuals that could not be more different, but still have one thing in common: they strive always to renew and improve.
«For centuries, the Engadine has been a magnet for extraordinary personalities. They inspire the locals, and the locals inspire them,» says Conradin Conrad, contemplating the twelfth edition of the Skiservice Magazine he launched. «You will be hard put to find another mountain region with such a multi-faceted worldwide reputation. The four individuals we feature in our magazine embody this notion each in their way.»
The makers and creators of this magazine are all locals: images, texts, design and layout of the Skiservice Magazine were made in the Engadine by an Engadine team. This edition is a book 160 pages thick with a distribution of 15,000 copies. Many local hotels present it to their guests; free copies are available at the 13 Skiservice shops as well as many local restaurants and shops. It is also available in a digital version.
