Overview of our rental snowshoes

Cross country through the deep snow

The original form of winter hiking

The snowshoes you can rent from Skiservice Corvatsch give you a safe way to hike across open countryside. The shoes provide a large surface area, meaning you won’t sink into the deep snow. Because you are moving across the surface of the snow, you will also be able to climb mountainsides quickly. The crampon systems attached to the bottom make going uphill even easier, the teeth providing extra grip, also in icy terrain.

The snowshoes are equipped with a simple binding, with fasteners that allow for individual adjustment. You can use snowshoes with regular winter shoes, which should be waterproof and warm to avoid wet or cold feet during your hike.

Hiking through the snowy natural scenery of our region

Becoming one with nature

Snowshoeing in winter is growing in popularity. In the Engadin, too, there are more and more routes for leisurely walks or extended hikes involving major elevation gains.

The Corvatsch Lake Trail attracts many visitors every year. One reason is the magical panorama you can enjoy during the hike. Yet another excursion tip is the Plauns snowshoe trail from Pontresina to Morteratsch. With a distance of 4 kilometers, this is one of the most challenging trails in our region.

The following hikes are suitable for families:

The teams in our shops are available to give you even more tips. With their suggestions and our equipment, nothing more stands in the way of your snowshoe hike through the glorious nature of the Engadin.
