Ski test à la Skiservice
When the newest innovations of skis and functional clothes for the upcoming winter season are presented at the ISPO in February, it's very tempting to test all the promises in depth. It's no different for the junior chef, Conradin Conrad, and Marcel Gaffner, free ski expert at Ski Service Corvatsch, as they want to convey their personal experiences to their customers. They selected nothing less than the endless and virgin vastness of the northern Rocky Mountains in British Columbia, Canada as their test range. They flew via helicopter to the Bobby Burns Lodge of Canadian Mountain Holidays where powder snow about 10 m deep was awaiting them in the Selkirk and Purcell mountains. They tested so intensely that they had exceeded an estimated 33,000m in height and had ploughed through a total of 70 km deep snow at the end of their one-week stay. Those who would like to find out what they experienced there can learn more at Ski Service Corvatsch in Surlej, where both like to share their adventures with guests.
